Musicians and amateur composers can benefit from the powerful features of this program, which has been designed to create, render, and print music. Melody Assistant integrates a wide array of tools that will make the process of creating music easier and precise. With numerous music symbols, the score editor will allow you to introduce notes and chords on the staff with ease, using the keyboard, the mouse, or an external midi device. It provides a number of score templates which can be modified, edited, and customized at will. It also offers support for string instruments, calculating tablatures and displaying chord diagrams. Additionally, the melody that is being created can be reproduced with the in-built synthesizer that will render the compositions with great sound quality, facilitating the revision and correction of possible mistakes.
Once you have composed a music piece, you can print the score customizing every aspect of it until you get the desired result.
In addition, the application lets you work with audio files in several formats, for example, you can use your recorded instruments, or any other type of audio file, and edit them with the integrated digital audio editor.
Another great tool that deserves to be mentioned is the module Virtual Singer, which can actually sing the lyrics of a song on a score, allowing you to choose and customize the voices.
Among the numerous improvements, fixes and new features found on this release, the most salient one is the concept of 'views’, which can display a same score in different ways according to the type of music you are composing. |
